In sales or in life 80% of your success is defined by the way you think and that’s the secret. I have a saying that I often use during my training, “You cannot sell a Billion Dollar Product with a Million Dollar Mindset”.
Most top-notch sales professionals constantly update their mind-set and skill-set to win in the game of selling. They study the changes in the buyer behavior, they improvise their sales cycle and think and play two steps ahead in the game of selling.
Here are 4 ways that the top-notch sales professionals think:
- They are always Hungry for more, which means they don’t settle or get comfortable too soon
While most people settle once they achieve their targets, a sales pro is hungry to break the mile-stones.He loves raising the bar every time.
- They work on their energy constantly – you attract clients who are at your frequency
You always attract the clients that you deserve. When your energy is high you attract high paid, long-term clients while if you have a manipulative energy you get the clients who are just like you.
- They are hungry to become better – they ask for feedback for improvements
Feedback is the breakfast of champions. Every sales pro is looking to refine his selling skills always. The way he does it is often by seeking feedback. He knows that there are blind-spots that he cannot see and knowing them and working on them can help him close more deals.
- They love sales as much as they love their life – they enjoy selling always
If you do not love what you do you often ending giving up too soon. In sales you get rejected more number of times than being selected. If you are not in love with selling you will give-up as soon as you start facing rejection.

It is often said that there are no secrets to succeed there are only systems to succeed. In sales it is absolutely true. Tracking the entire sales life cycle is the key to succeed in sales.
